Pages and Feathers

A couple of older pictures today.
Didn't get a chance to get out and shoot.
The girl was home sick again.
Cheers.

Backyard Photos

Adeline stayed home today because of a fever.
We watched Tangled and a lot of Yo Gabba Gabba.
Despite running a 102 degree temperature Adeline felt like taking pictures outside this evening.
She had a good time.
Doesn't look sick to me.
Oh well.
Cheers.

Polaroid Wedding

Just for fun today I ran some pictures of a wedding I shot last summer through the Poladroid software just to see what would come out.
Not bad.
I wouldn't do an entire wedding like this but it makes for an interesting new perspective.
Cheers.

Tree Branches

I'm not sure why I love looking at tree branches so much.
Maybe it is because they look like arms forever reaching.
Maybe it is because there is a wonderful symmetry in them if you look long enough.
Maybe I'm just a little strange.
Cheers.

Through The Lens Mixtape Vol. 1

Here is a selection of what I've been listening to lately.
You may like some it...hopefully.
Cheers.

The Gravestones of St. John's Cemetery

These pictures were taken at St. John's Cemetery where many of the Swedish Methodists who immigrated to Round Rock were buried.
It is out in the country between Round Rock and Georgetown and will probably be overtaken by housing developments before too long.
Despite the age of some of the graves the cemetery is fairly well cared for and still used for burials today.
Cheers.

The Big Tree at Goose Island State Park

Over spring break my family went down to Rockport, TX and we visited Goose Island State Park which contains this wonderful tree.
The Big Tree as it is aptly called is over 1,000 years old.
Pretty cool.
Cheers.

The Start of Something New

So I'm going to do my best to post a new picture here every day.
I'll probably miss a day every now and then...oh well.
This will be a collection of life as I see it through the lens of my camera.
Cheers.
